Interview Prep

P1, secondary and international schools

Practice for P1, secondary and international school interviews, so your child gets used to the kinds of conversations schools have.

  • P1, secondary and international schools
  • English, Cantonese or Mandarin
  • In person or online

What we practise

Typical interview themes. We adjust them to the school and the year your child is applying for.

  • Introducing yourself and your family
  • Talking about hobbies and weekends
  • Describing a picture and telling a story
  • Giving reasons, and good manners in an interview

How the classes build

  1. Start with a diagnostic

The first class shows where your child is today and gives some quick wins.

  2. Practise the themes

Short, story-based activities that grow from single words to full, reasoned sentences.

  3. Step back, then climb again

When a child is stuck we go back to an easier prompt, then build up again, so they never feel lost.

  4. Keep you informed

You receive one written progress report each month.

Common questions

Which language is it taught in?

Mainly English, and also Cantonese and Mandarin. Tell us which language the school interview uses.

Can you promise a place?

No. The school decides. We help your child prepare, and we never promise an outcome.

What should I tell you first?

The school and the year your child is applying for.
